(Special Correspondent: Ye Kunling) The 18th Anniversary Celebration of the American Entrepreneurs Association (AEA) and Fundraising Charity Gala for California Huidian School was grandly held on the evening of March 24 at the Peninsula Regent Hotel in South San Francisco. Over 200 guests—including state and city officials, business leaders, and friends from the overseas Chinese and education communities—attended to celebrate AEA’s anniversary and to raise funds in support of Huidian School, showing their commitment to education through concrete actions. The celebration opened with a lively performance of song and dance by ten young students from Huidian School, followed by a video showcasing AEA’s growth and its active involvement in community service during the pandemic.
AEA President Ben He then took the stage along with Vice Presidents Li Manna and Shi Xiuzhen, advisors, board members, and a number of public officials and educators to extend warm greetings to the guests, creating a heartwarming and festive atmosphere.

In his welcome speech, AEA President Ben He warmly thanked all the guests from the political, business, and academic sectors for their presence and support. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the elected officials, educational leaders, performers, student volunteers, artists who donated their works, and generous donors to Huidian School.
“It is your support that allows AEA to continue growing and makes tonight's celebration possible,” he said.
He also thanked the association’s board members and members for their unity and contributions.
“Even during the pandemic, AEA didn’t stop its activities. In fact, we became more engaged—taking on more social responsibility and participating in more public service initiatives. We hope you will continue to support AEA as we remain committed to serving the community.”
President He gave special recognition to young AEA student member Li Shuyang, who was responsible for all the photography and video design for the event, which greatly enhanced the celebration’s presentation.
School Director Robin Hom spoke on behalf of Huidian School, thanking the artists for their donations and expressing deep appreciation to the generous supporters of AEA who contributed to the school.

California State Treasurer Fiona Ma said in her speech that she attended the celebration tonight together with her father, Dr. William Ma. She emphasized the great importance of education and expressed her gratitude for having received a strong educational background that enabled her to become a certified public accountant. She also voiced strong support for all business owners, especially immigrants who come here to live and pursue the American Dream.
Former California Assemblymember Gan-Sheng Zhu, a member of the California Private Postsecondary Education Advisory Committee, and his wife Zhou Yunjü also spoke. They said that during the pandemic, they actively participated alongside AEA President Ben He and other board members and members in anti-pandemic efforts, such as donating masks and protective suits to frontline medical workers and police officers. They praised AEA’s consistent involvement in community service and admired the unity and spirit of its members.
Alameda County Supervisor David Haubert expressed his gratitude to President Ben He and the AEA team for their outstanding support of the community. He said, “I believe education is the top priority. I have served on the Dublin School Board for 10 years, and I appreciate your organization’s efforts in nurturing the next generation.”

The evening’s program featured performances by the Stanford University A Cappella Group and students from Huidian School. Students from the Chinese Student Association at UC Davis and 16-year-old AEA young member Wei Ailin also performed energetic dances on stage. The event focused on charitable fundraising, with many artists and entrepreneurs generously contributing and actively supporting the fundraising efforts for Huidian School, with donations steadily increasing.

The highlight of the event was when AEA members joined political, business, and academic elites in cutting the birthday cake and holding a fundraising auction, marking the climax of the celebration. 重头戏为AEA成员与到会政商学界精英一同切生日蛋糕及拍卖筹款，成为庆会的高潮。
The artists whose works were donated for auction that evening included painter Chen Wanxiang, photographer Zheng Xiangyang, young painter Vincent Chen, painter Long Hua from Guangzhou, and young painter Long Beini.
