On December 17, a delegation of nine members from the American Entrepreneurs Association (AEA) visited the Merced County Government Chambers at the invitation of County Board Chair Rodrigo Espinosa to participate in a toy donation ceremony.
Representatives included AEA Advisor and former California Assemblymember Kansen Chu and his wife Daisy Chu, AEA President Ben He, board members Henry Lei, Steven Wu, Jason Huang, student members Xin Wu and JunZe Ling, and martial arts master Shifu Yuan from the Shaolin Kung Fu Institute.
Also in attendance were Merced County Board Chair Rodrigo Espinosa, Vice Chair Josh Pedrozo, Supervisors Daron McDaniel, Lloyd Pareira, Scott Silveira, and leaders from the local police department.
Chairman Espinosa opened the session by expressing gratitude for the community’s support over the past year. He highlighted the County Board’s commitment to public service through infrastructure and community improvement, and warmly welcomed the AEA guests for their generous contribution during the holiday season.
He introduced the AEA to over 100 community members present, praising their dedication to philanthropy and service. The group personally delivered holiday gifts for local children—emphasizing the importance of giving back during festive times.
Former Assemblymember Kansen Chu and AEA President Ben He were invited to speak. Mr. Chu shared his honor in representing the association and acknowledged the leadership of President He and board member Henry Lei. He noted that this toy donation, in collaboration with the Merced County Sheriff's Department, aims to bring love and joy to children during the holidays.
Following the ceremony, toys were officially handed over by President He to local authorities. The group then took commemorative photos with county leaders and police officers to mark the meaningful occasion.
The toy donation was made possible thanks to AEA Board Member Henry Lei of World Hall Toys, who thoughtfully selected around 500 high-quality gifts featuring unicorns, Batman, and other popular themes. Mr. Lei expressed his joy in supporting children and giving back to the community during the holidays.
Youth members Xin Wu and JunZe Ling said they were excited to participate, and inspired by the entrepreneurs' spirit of giving. They hope to stay involved in future community service initiatives.
President Ben He expressed heartfelt thanks to Henry Lei and other members for their generosity. He encouraged more young Chinese Americans to actively contribute to community welfare through volunteering, charity, and civic engagement—including voting and leadership.
This event marked AEA’s third toy donation of the year. On December 6, the association also donated toys to the Santa Clara County Government Office, where District Supervisor Sylvia Arenas helped distribute the gifts to children in need across Silicon Valley’s 15 cities.
“It’s our mission to unite the strength of the Chinese-American community, especially the younger generation, to give back and stay engaged,” said President Ben He. “We are more than just professionals and parents—we are part of the community.”

當天郡 議準時在10時半拉開幕帷，首由郡議長Rodrigo Espinosa致辭，他講述過去一年里，郡議會努力為社區為民眾盡責盡責做好服務，包括在公園、社會等民生建築建設上關注各項進展並認真投入及落實各項措施。他言中並衷心感謝社區及各屆的支持與配合！
隨後Espinosa議長向 加 議的周 100多名居民予會者介紹了美國企業家聯誼會簡況，各位企業家親臨現場，並帶上愛心禮物贈予郡里小朋友，節日不忘回饋社會，難能可貴。
議長還盛意邀請前加州眾議員朱感生與何華斌會長上台致詞，朱感生議員表示，非常榮幸能夠代表美國企業家聯誼會在 Merced 郡議會的講台上發表感言，今天在何華斌會長與理事Henry Lei的大力支持下，我們以關愛孩童之心，帶著友誼善舉，前來捐出各種愛心玩具，通過Merced 郡的警察局參與傳 的聖誕節玩具派發活動。Espinosa主席，Pedrozo副主席，警察局負責人及社區，從何華斌會長手上接過AEA企業家捐獻的玩具，讓聖誕節更充滿人間大愛。捐贈儀式圓滿結束後，AEA領導及理事與Merced郡的政要及警局負責人合照，留下美好回憶。
是日善舉，主要捐贈者是世界堂玩具的Henry Lei雷宏理事，他精心挑選了約500件孩子們喜歡的玩具，包括有獨角獸，蝙蝠俠等系列，雷先生表示非常高興能為社區做些公益活動，讓社區有需要的孩子們在聖誕節拿到禮物是非常有意義的。企業家聯誼會的青年會員吳昕與凌君澤表達了很興奮有機會能出席這有意義的活動，學習企業家們如何回饋社會，表示今後要更積極參與不同類型的社區活動。
何華斌會長對於捐贈玩具的Henry等企業家慷慨解囊，捐贈玩具的義舉表示衷心感謝，希望社區有更多年輕之輩為社區的公益活動添磚增瓦。何華斌並言，AEA會員經常組織各項公益活動，服務社區不遺餘力，今年已經是第三次向不同的社區捐贈愛心玩具，包括12月6日帶著愛心玩具來到硅谷高科技中心最重要的15個城市的聖克拉拉郡郡政府Sylvia Arenas郡議員辦公室，請Silvia議員把愛心玩具轉贈到有需要的儿童。何 斌 更希望我們能夠凝聚華裔力量，積極參與活躍社區，包括義工，公益捐贈，投票選舉等。特別要鼓勵我們年輕的華裔也要積極投入，讓我們華裔除了自己家庭工作以外，也要為社區付出力量。
